Jerry has been involved in the driver training industry for the past 16 years. From 2006 to 2020, Jerry was a senior Advanced Driving Instructor with the Mercedes-Benz Driving Academy and the AMG Driving Academy. While maintaining AMG certification through training at the Nürburgring in Germany and at AMG Winter Sporting in Arjeplog, Sweden, he continued to lead internationally attended programs across North America. Racetracks, frozen lakes, and intricate street drives became his new office. Some of the highlights include winter expeditions to Tuktoyaktuk, NWT, AMG Winter Sporting in Gimli, MB, G Wagen experience in Ocotilla Wells, Ca, and a VIP experiential lapping day on the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, QC. Other driver training programs that he has been involved with include collision avoidance, trailer towing, off-road, winching and recovery for various agencies including police forces, WorkSafe BC, BC Hydro, Health Canada, and other government agencies.

Since early 2020, Jerry has focussed his attention on working with new drivers as a GLP certified driving instructor. Training new drivers in our community has been a really rewarding part of his career. When asked why he is so passionate about training new drivers, he responds “ensuring that today’s youth are safe on the streets is very important to me. If I can play a role in that process, then I am very proud of that accomplishment”. He has also written multiple ICBC approved GLP curriculums and is currently a General Manager with Driving Unlimited Academy based in Pitt Meadows.
