About Us

The Chamber of Commerce serving Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows has been working for our two communities and our membership since 1999. Independently, the two chambers were incorporated around 1910 but were dissolved during World War One. After the War they were reinstated and decided to join both chambers to better serve our communities.

Working on behalf of business and our members, the Chamber’s collective purpose is to foster a thriving, prosperous business community. The chamber proudly represents and promotes over 450+ businesses in and around our cities and region. Through our organization, members have the opportunity to contribute to the community and influence all levels of government for positive policy change. In addition, members receive benefits that include nationally negotiated discounts and educational and networking opportunities of value to their businesses.

We undertake research on our region’s policy issues from a business perspective. We propose and advocate for solutions that will foster the growth of local businesses in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows and lead to the creation of jobs and business opportunities. Our work is based on the belief that strong businesses are the foundation of a prosperous community.

Connect

We create opportunities to connect by holding networking and special events that encourages business members to get out. Network and meet the people in the Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows business community, because it'll open up your eyes to how much there is in these communities and how beneficial it can be to connect with likeminded business people.

Educate

Through the various educational seminars and skills training workshops we inspire to mobilize the business community to be more engaged partners, challenge the status quo and stimulate their business acumen to enhance their ability to run and operate their businesses.
